Wolverhampton charity invites brides-to-be to visit affordable wedding wear store

Compton Care has been inviting people to come and see its Bridal Boutique, located in Wolverhampton’s Mander Centre on the upper floor.

Nestled next to Matalan, the boutique offers a selection of affordable, pre-loved wedding dresses, occasion wear, shoes, accessories and party outfits.

Steve Samra, Compton Care’s Commercial Director, said: “We’re delighted to have our own wedding and occasion wear store at this time of year as we know lots of brides-to-be will be hunting for that perfect dress for their special day.

“Lots of people love the idea of having a more sustainable wedding, and by shopping with us, brides and grooms are helping the local community and saving the planet all at the same time.”

There are also outfits for the groom, the bridesmaids, the moms and the wider bridal party and the store offers private appointments, allowing brides and their entourage to have the entire boutique to themselves.

The store is open Tuesday to Saturday for 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 10am to 4pm and proceeds from every purchase support Compton Care’s vital work providing specialist palliative and end of life care to people in the local community and support for their loved ones.
